Display problem

Hi,

I have a Leon TDI130 2003 model. Absolutely happy with it apart from a deterioration of the LCD climate control screen.

It started with failure of a sector of one of the digits and now a black 'blob' is encroaching from the right!

Has anyone else had problems with this?

its a common problem across VAG, i had it go in my 03 toledo and had it replaced under warranty (whist it was still in mind you)

id go speak to your local dealer, i would push for a full warranty replacement, however be prepared to stump up either 50/50 or pay for the labour as you are out of the warranty period

i would not accept paying full whack (they are like £500 each from memory) and it is a recognised issue
