Sure its been done before but here goes.

whats the best set up for front brakes and pads for leon fr 2.0tsi 2009. Currently i have"cheap" grooved and dimpled discs with ebc red stuff. The discs have already warped after one track day.

Also where do people find their brake pedal starts to actually bite. Mine seems to go to half way down despite fully bleeding system after fitting ss hoses

Any help more than welcome

I've been pricing up the same and I've opted for EBC slotted discs and Ferodo DS2500 pads. Mines a Cupra so has the larger discs and these are the best prices I've found...

Front ebc discs - £225
Rear ebc discs - £112
Ferodo DS2500 fronts - £143
Ferodo DS2500 rears - £98

Total £578

I'm in a diesel FR (CR170) and have EBC RedStuff's and fitting Black Diamond 6 Groove discs all round. Got these on a good recommendation from my local supplier and good reviews for the pads in numerous places.

Now the bit everyone likes to know ;) - £350 for the lot.

I was looking at the red stuff, but that amount of bad reviews the EBC green, yellow and red pads get on the Internet is ridiculous. Put me off getting them as I don't want hassle of having to fork out for another set of brake pads
