We are in discussion with a well-regarded number plate supplier about offering branded high-quality number plates. We would be looking to provide an exclusive 20% discount to our registered active members.

Plate designs would be in two styles, one for CUPRA owners and one for SEAT owners. You will be able choose from standard number plates, gel plates and 4d plates and have a country flag should you wish.

Our exclusive design features a lower lip with our website address.

1. CUPRA plate

  • CUPRA brand colour border front and rear plates.
  • Lower black lip on the rear plate with our website address in CUPRA brand colour

2. SEAT plate

  • SEAT black colour border front and rear plates.
  • Lower black lip on rear plate with our website address in black

Below is a sample plate.

I'd be up for a SEAT plate, I like the yellow strip around the lip but would take either option.
Random question, for fitting do they pre drill holes or do these have to be in a bracket mount or using velcro/magnets?

No pre-drilled holes. Fitting with a mount or sticky pads or make your own holes. I've always been fine using good quality 3M sticky pads for my plates, even on slight curves. Can't stand the thought of holes in the bodywork.

I prefer design 2 (with no yellow border around the forum address), but as I drive over to France a lot it’ll be a no go for me as I want the UK designation on the plate

I'm sure that will still be an option for you to choose. The supplier provides them already and see no issue why it couldn't be done to these designs as well.

OK I've been in touch with the supplier and we have agreed to go with the yellow edge around the lower lip.

This is to ensure the quality of the plate as other approaches without the edge would cause peeling.

If you have previously posted please can you repost if you are still interested.

I have updated the first post with the new designs and confirmation that the country flag will be an option as well as the usual, standard, gel, 4D etc - all road legal.

Having had a sample plate now I can vouch for the quality and the customer service has been excellent. I've been stung with not so great suppliers in the past so keen to get this going with this supplier.

Cheers,

Scott
