disconecting maf

just having a few boost problems with the cupra at the moment and have a feeling it mite be the maf just wanted to no if it would be ok to disconnect the maf and see if it is any better to drive without it connected

cheers will give it a go the car is being a right pain at the moment everytime i put my foot down it just holds back on me

no not got a boost gauge went to forge last monday and the car has a fault code of negative boost devation

Im not a vag com geek by any means as im just getting used to it myself but i think that could either mean the N75 or you have a boost leak somwhere. If your car is standard and your not modding it any further i have a autometer boost gauge for sale.

the car has ben superchipped has a cat back exhaust and induction kit cheers anyway

Check the hose from the top of the DV...

My item had been smelted causing your symptoms, either that or go to Maplins and buy Isopropynol (?sp) Alcohol and give the MAF probe a good going over..

Car's never ran better after that!

No worries mate, Have you changed all your vac hoses for silicone ones? If you havent i would (and have) Makes the engine bay look better and could also be a cheap fix to your problem!

yeah have change all the vac hoses along with the tip and dv service

already done the n249 bypass the only thing i think it mite now is the maf
