disc changer

hi there does any body know how easy it is to put a seat disc changer in a mk 1 leon fr?

Easy....

I had my glovebox out the other week to route my ipod cable round the back....there is literally a wiring connector that goes round from the changer to behind the stereo...the changer should just slide in a and secure with 2 screws....does yours have an insert at the moment or is there a hole in the glovebox?

Edit: oh and welcome to the forum! :)

You might find it as been replaced with a sleeve for where the changer sits in the glovebox.
That needs removing then the wiring is "through the hole" (possibly)

hello mate yes mine does have the hole for the changer so it should just plug in?
can you put an ipod on the seat cd player?

do you know if a vw or audi one that looks the same as a seat one will work?

cheers :)

Yeah plug and play.
No you can't use a cd changer and an ipod at the same time as the ipod (connects2) connects via the cd changer port..

Not sure to advise if it will work or not, the connector might be different, i have one that works but you can't pm me.
