Can the light warning buzzer be turned off or disabled in any way?

Or better yet does anyone know where it is so i can just unplug it lol?

Cheers!

You could always try shorting the door switch so the car never thinks its opened, so no buzzer when you get out. Would proably screw up the alarm system though.

Think the buzzer is in the dash clocks if its the same as the mk3. Would guess its also used for other things such as low fuel alarm ect. Could always cut it out and solder a resistor across it instead. Geting the dash out it a bit of a pain though.

And why do you want to do this anyway?

Well i was putting coming home headlights on it, but i wanted the sidelights to come on not the headlights. Only problem is sidelights turn the buzzer on so you have to open the door with it buzzing, thought that might be a bit much early in the morning lol.

Just changed it so they turn the headlights on instead now, no buzzer and more light, better i suppose!
