Ok, my knowledge of wiring is pretty slim (unlike me lol) but I got a digital boost gauge to sit in my vent pod. Following the instructions best I could, struggles and went and found a step by step guide on how to fit one (but a analog gauge not digital, this is possibly why I'm having issues).
Anyway, I wired it all up and tested it by putting the key one click as it plumbed into the ignition live via the dash light dimming control. Yep the gauge came on as I expected, but soon as I start the car, the gauge turns off, anyone shed some light onto why this is happening?
I've attached pictures of what I've done, excuse the poor taping etc, I obviously didn't wanna make it all good till I knew I was right (good thing too)
This is what I have done
Black boost wire to brown plug wire
Green and white boost wire off to module
Both red wires (one for gauge one to module) into blue grey plug wire
At first, I thought the obvious, loose connection, but I can't find any connection faults alone my wiring
Gauge turn on with one turn of key, ignition on gauge turns
off
