over the summer i am going to be replacing my current 1.4 mk2 ibiza, i have decided i am going to go for the car that i really want which is the leon tdi 150 engine

my question is are there any other changes apart from trim/equipment between the cupra and the fr. and what these are, and whats the best to go for as i am looking at about 11-12k for the car

Nothing apart from small details, fr has only got single disc cd, cupra has a multichanger etc. Try go for the fr as it will be newer also the later fr came with the cupra R body kit and 17" version of the wheels as standard so keep a look out for an fr imo

Show me one with 20k for 10k.

My 60K is a lot better than a car that's done 60k around town. It's on the original brake pads!

well looking round a lot of cupra's seem to some with the bodykit and alloys, and as said are a bit cheaper so we shall see

trying to save up about a grand in the next few months so i don't have to borrow more than 10k for the car, i really want it to be about 8 or 9

You don't mean if?

Mine isn't even 2yo yet. I'd say mine is in better nick than most others that have done half the mileage around town.

I think this has got out of hand.

As a general rule we most probably all agree lower is better. We are not doubting that you have not looked after you car because you probably have a lot better than a lot of other car users. However what thebeno is saying is true aswell, he probably can get one with lower miles for same money but if he cant then he might settle for one with higher miles.

60k on origional pads, very much doubt it mate.
