Hi folks

Having a sort through the stack of paperwork with my new cupra r (54 plate) and found it had diamondbrite from new (£200). The question is.... i use Megs a s a rule (wash/quick detailer/micro cloth) but having tryed a small area it seems to be leaving light swirl marks....whats the best product to use to maintain the deep shine/protection...does this polish/protection have any aftermarket outlets..

Many thanks

Hi mate
Up until christmas i worked for mazda, we sold this stuff as an add on. To be honest the stuff is pretty rubbish. It's never applied correctly by the dealers, in my experience anyway.
We charged £299 for it, but it can be got off ebay for a couple of quid and you will make a better job of putting it on, but not being a professional valeter it will have no guarantee anyway.
If you were serious that you wanted to use diamondbrite, gard x, sotherbys etc then once its on you get stuff called conserver which is mean't to top it up.
But if you want my opinion, don't waste you time and money, get a good shampoo, polish and a wax.
Sorry to go on!

Ok,thanks for that. Is there anyway of removing it?? or is it a case of over polishing/waxing ?? As i said it seems to leave light swirl marks..

Thanks
