Dials and clocks

quick question

i've got a 1996 Gti, the clocks go from 0-140mph and i want to change the lighting so:

i cant on mine though, i can get the dial faces, but on my dials there isnt lighting behind the dials, only behind the little LCD screen

actually looking at mine, the VR6 DDI dial kit might work? they go up to 160 like mine
