Diagnosis indicator lit up

Knowing nothing about my Leon, my diagnosis light has just come on but not flashing.

Any quick answers what the problem could be or what i should and shouldnt do????

I had a similar thing with my old Leon, no obvious faults, turned out to be a faulty brake light switch on the pedal, meaning I had no brake lights, might be worth checking?

The diagnostic light can light up for a huge number of different reasons, you need to get a vag-com diagnostic either at a dealer, local VW/Seat independant or if you're lucky someone on here local to you withvag-com might be able to help.
This will give you the code or codes relating to the fault.

where abouts in kent longman? i have a 1.8 20vt and yesterday my diagnostic light came on ive not noticed any problems with the car it feels pretty normall to drive so im hoping its nothing 2 bad.

ok cheers bud ive spoken to someone who works at vw in canterbury and he's gonna take the car to work with him and try 2 sort it out, hopefully only a minor problem though
