I write on behalf of my other half whose car I was using today when the light referred to in the title illuminated orange on the dashboard cluster. The manual says that it should flash on activation, this one is on permanently. Does anyone have experience of this warning/advisory light? I phoned my local dealer to see if they had any suggestions - sharp intake of breath "Ah, yes. It could be anything, plug, plug lead, ignition, exhaust sensor, temp gauge" the list went on. Has anyone experienced the same symptoms and determined a likely cause?

Depending on the age of the car, if it's under 3 or 5 years old then it'll be still covered on SEAT Assist so you could get the AA out to read the code(s) and then have a search on here.
