Dents in bonnet from the underside.

Hello, I was after some advice. I got my 2012 1.2tsi fr in November. I had nothing but mechanical issues with it for the first 3 months I had the car. All of which is sorted now. But I have now noticed several dents in the bonnet up over as if something was in the engine bay as the bonnet was shut. I was curious as to if anyone else has ever had it. I'm unsure if it's caused by things being thrown up in the engine bay or if the garage is at fault. As I've not done any mechanical work on the car myself. And if it is down to them I intend to push for it to be repaired.
Any advice would be appreciated.

From what you say it seems the only explanation is that the bonnet was shut with something laying on top of the engine and that caused the dent. You are obviously sure you didn't do it, so it seems the blame lies with the garage mechanic who serviced the car.
The problem is you have no evidence so I don't see how you will get them to repair it FOC.

That's indeed my issue, sadly this is the first time I've noticed it as it was the first time I've had the car long enough for nice weather to really clean it. I'm hopeful but very doubtful that they will do anything. I'm going to at least go in and speak to them. Hopefully they will take pity due to the fact the car was in 3 times in 3 months after I bought it
