Ive just noticed a bloody dent in the bonnet of me motor [:@][:@][:@]

Looks like twat someone has punched it or it could of been one of the kids pissing around outside my house.

Went straight my bodyshop and he's gonna try and roll it out. He said if he has no luck then its gonna need filling and painting. Approx £100.

Not happy [:@][:@][:@]

Looks like a good idea but im worried it will damage my paint up because it goes from hot to cold so quickly.

Has anyone from the site tryed it and where do you get it from.

I tried it about 3 weeks ago, will only ever work on a shallow dent. The sort you could pop with a sink plunger, and only on a flat panel.

the air duster trick does not work on small 'crease' dents, i tried and tried abut 4 different makes of those things, ranging from pipe freezer to air dusters as reccomended, i also heated the pannel using a heat gun, (being carefull not to melt the paint).
reason for the heat gun is to raise the temperature of the panel then suddenly cool it causing it to 'pop' back in to shape, but as i say only works on big dents where the pannel has been popped in

mine are all on rounded bits so it wouldnt work, i even bought one of those plunger looking ones that you squeeze the handles together to create suction, failed miserably.

Found out the other day how the one near my petrol cap could have been caused, i thought it was the previous owner maybe hitting it with the nozzle of the petrol thing, but that would have scratched the paint aswell.

you know where you park on the wrong side and stretch the cable round the back? if you dont get it right the handle is at an awkward angle and pushes against the bit where ive got a dent so my guess is he didnt give any slack and dented it that way.
