I think the Leon is too big to go for the nasty 'Euro Dub' look. It's a 5 door hatch remember, not a little Euro shopping box that can pull off the look.

And as BCS quite rightly pleads... don't stretch the tyres on the OE wheels, it will just look like you couldn't afford the proper tyres, or your tyre fitter is a cowboy!

Not mine, but I like :) Bit of inspiration here.

Yeah nice rims, just don't do that streached tyre thing, the Germans like so much, apart from it looks nasty, it only takes one careless parking job, to kill a very expensive rim, far better IMO, to get proper sized tyres with a rim protector.

my misses lupo is a bit of a euro style number, it pulls it off well, BUT
i think it is very hard for the leon to pull it off, too big, too curvey and too good looking to change!

Cars like the Lupo, Polo, early Golfs etc pull it off well. Bigger cars jut don't suit it IMO. They suit the standard, good old fashioned method of modding.... lower it, but not a stupid amount, and put some decent, well suited wheels on it. Sorted :D

The first two are really nice cars. The rest are spoilt by those stupid, badly fitted tyres, poor camber, wheels looking too small and not filling the arches and in one case, the rear wheels being too far forward into the rear arch.

Aww. The two in the 6th image are kissing.

*** Ahh, they ARE European. That'd explain it.

Kissy... Kissy Yes and the red golf will be expecting a happy event and deliver a baby Lupo, in about 9 months :blink:

Gotta agree with RobM, the bronzy coloured car is sweet looking, and my fav the black one is also sweet apart from the rims stick out to far, on the front with nasty too narrow tyres, but the shaved (de-badged) back is well sweet...:funk:

I guess the euro look is a very ummm European thing .. hang on a mo' arn't we in europe now

"I guess the euro look is a very ummm European thing .. hang on a mo' arn't we in europe now " - Yep, but every corner you go round, theres a nice juicy speedhump waiting for you  well in my neck of the woods there is.

I would love to go euro on my LCR, but get put off with the cost involved (£400-500 a corner needed).

Alloy wise, I think the LCR is/can be a difficult car to work with, a few good UK examples around on seatcupra.net though

Personally I thought they all looked great. I'm not sure how the wheels look too small as they all look like 17's-18's.

The rear wheels looking forward is just something you have to live with on a Leon if you lower it, it's because of the way the suspension is set-up.

slightly stretched rubber is ok. like i have on mine.
But if you have it stretched like on that purple leon, ur asking for a blow out and a nasty painful accident.
