Hi there,

Im faced with a bit of a dilema. At the moment i own a 98 Toledo

Here it is ^^. now the head gasket has just went and i had been thinking about selling it and buying a jeep. However i like the car and its the head gasket and a few other little things that are bugging me about it.. so im thinking mabye a transplant is in order to give this car a new lease of life.. as of yet ive not see any other mk1 toledos modified at least not to the extent im thinking of. so i thought id ask. has any1 on here or elsewhere done something silly to this shape of car? VR6? 20vt ?

Don't quote me on this, but am pretty sure the front = golf mkIII. Since the vr6 was available on the mk3 golf I can't see it not fitting your toledo.

vr6 drops straight in as the car is based on a mk2 jetta. i tell u this as im in the process of building a tsr 2.9vr6 running 250+ bhp @ wheels
