Dashboard Issue

Hi All,

Having had my LCR for only a couple days now I thought I would give it to Seat to do a warranty job for me. Have any of you had a problem with some of the padded stuff seeping out from behind the dashboard? On mine there look like some carpet type material coming out of the far left hand side of the dashboard. At first I thought this was very odd, but the bloke I bought the car from said that he had bought the car like that and never bothered to give it back to Seat to sort..
Just wondered if this was common on LCR's, the guy at my local dealer seems to think so

I had some white double-sided sticky padding poking up from the left hand side of my dashboard. I onlly got round to sorting it the other day, it was starting to annoy me!

I have the carpet stuff, mine's faded now to a nice brown colour. One day i'll take a stanley to it and trim it properly. Was like from the day i drove it off the forecourt on both sides but i happen to have replaced the rioght hand pillar for one with a guage.

OK chaps, thanks for that. At least I know it is common. I think I will book it into Seat, let them sort it he he...

Got the same thing on mine. Doesn't bother me though.
