After browsing SCN for a while I thought it was about time I signed up and posted some pics of my car. I bought my Ibiza in July last year, its a 1.4tdi sx. I upgraded from the 1L Corsa that you can see in the background. Here it is the day after I picked it up.

The first mod I did was colourcode the wing mirror covers and fitted my headunit, it then remained like this until August when I fitted a DTUK tuning box and a Pipercross panel filter.

Wheels

I decided I wanted to paint and fit some black wheels. I wanted some facelift FR wheels, however after searching ebay/pistonheads for months and only finding a pair I decided to choose something else. After more searching on ebay I found some nice multispokes that I liked that were from a Toyota SR. The offset was fine the PCD was fine so i bought them, but i forgot to check the bore and when I tried to fit them they didn't fit Here is a pic of them anyway.

Instead of being bored over my uni easter holiday I decided that I would spray the standard wheels.

While the wheels were off I decided to paint the drums as well, so I started by getting the rust off.

I then painted them

After giving the wheels a good clean I rubbed them down with wet & dry filled in the few kerb marks and then masked them up. No pictures of this, sorry

I then sprayed them with primer

After letting the primer dry for a few hours I started spraying the black, Here's what they looked like after the first coat

And after 3 coats

I didn't spray them with lacquer as I didn't want to risk the paint reacting with it and I liked the matt finish, so put 4 layers of this on

The finished result

The other 2 wheels and the centre caps will be done later in the week, I need to let my fingers recover from the sanding and spraying as they are quite sore/blistered at the moment!

Just finished rubbing down the other 2 wheels, they should be finished by Sunday evening

Haven't updated this thread in ages! wheels were finished ages ago but I haven't taken any proper pictures, this is the only one I have

Anyway, since my last update:
While I was away at uni my dad bought and fitted a full FR interior which was a nice surprise - so much more comfy than the standard seats. No pics of this as you all know what it looks like.

Then this got delivered last week

Won't be getting fitted for a while as I want an FR/facelift front bumper as well and will get them both sprayed together.

These got delivered this morning (sorry for the crap pic)

Again won't be getting fitted for a while as I'm back at uni soon, don't have the other parts (new top mounts ect), and don't really have the time
