Dark glass in front headlights

Hi,

I just saw a TT with dark glass in the front headlights and it looked really cool - is it possible to get something like this for the new Leon?

Like this:

Would look cool on my white car.

it will be soon, u coul always try modding one yaself bet theres are spares about to try it on. when they do come out they aint going to be cheap.

Quite likely be available in left hand drive markets long before it reaches UK shores (assuming headlights are still made for the different markets? Or is it all done by bulb adjustment nowadays?)

Sure it wasn't just the colour of the plastics behind making it seem dark?

Could be but I have the black insides and it doesn't looks like it - the TT seems to have darkned glass too.

I would have thought darkening the glass over the headlights wouldn't go down well with the TUV or similar standards bodies. Seems a bit stupid to do it

tend to agree, darkening the headlights can only impare night vision.

does look cool though, i had smoked "daytime running covers" on my RS turbo years ago

I didn't know the right word - smoked = darkened is probably the same for me
