Damn Rear Washer

since the weather has gone cold ive had loads of :censored: problems with the rear wash pipe coming off and water leaking all ova the boot :censored: ******* thing lol, i tryed zip tie to hold it on but that didnt work so tonight i ended up gluing it back on. it better not come back off now, and i ened up fiddling wiv the spray nossle aswell and i now cant get it to spray on the window right.... think it need a new one now lol :censored:

Hi mate, I used a hot glue gun & a cable tie on my rear washer pipe to get it to stay in place.

Use a safety pin to adjust the direction of the rear washer sprayer :)

I used a jubilee clip to secure mine to the nozzle, but have been thinking about putting some other type of tubing on there, that maybe less resistant to the problems of freezing.

i simply don't use my rear one for this reason, can't say i even use the wiper!

I used to hate this on my mk3, I cable tied the joints on the hose in drivers side of boot behind carpet, but because i did this the one in the the boot panel use to go quite regular.
I was gonna fix that permanently as well but i heard there another joint between these and washer bottle which knowing my luck would blow instead. I'd rather have the water running out of the boot lock than on to carpets especially this time of year.

Funnily even getting a mk4 Ibiza hasn't solved the problem either as it does it on them too.
