damn rear speakers

got a day off from work, been to tax office to sort some stuff out and also finally getting round to sorting out the rear speakers i bought a few weeks ago

cannot remove the damn speakers from the car while in, so i have had to remove the entire fasia in each rear corner:confused:

If i remember correctly from my mrk 2s, they are on plastic pins, you have to carefully remove the seals on the end of the pins to pull them down off them.

i got a set of pioneer replacements that came with little fixers to mount them back on which held them in place.

its a plastic peg, and the speakers are held on with like a screw and rubber mount

have tried pulling off and unscrewing but feels like its gonna do damage, thought it best to do the long way round to be safe:p

got the new uns connected now, sound so much better than the old ones:clap:

bit of a bodge wiring wise cause the stupi dseat connection but they sound nice and loud, well for a system with no amp and sub anyway:funk:

ok this is where i have to confess, lol

replaced em with a set of 6x4 jbl's i got from halford for 40 quid, good enough for me though:happy:
