Hiya
Daft question, I want to change the orange indicator bulbs with silvervision ones.

I had a look at the manual but when I try to remove the rear cluster, it seems to be catching on something and I just can't work out how to get it off.

Can any of you help me out?

Thanks in advance

No help to you, but i have the same issue when trying to remove the clusters. Each one seems to have a something stopping it being removed after the plastic nut has been removed from inside the boot.

There isn't anything else holding it on but some clip on the outer edge, just a case of a shift to one side and a bit of a wiggle.

Undo the plastic nut in the boot and push it towards the back of the car from the side of the cluster.

I've had problems when changing the bulbs in my wife's 9N Polo, I think that there are two sets of guide bits that pass through two mounting holes and maybe a guide bit and a bolt passing through the third hole (that the captive nut screws onto to). Maybe its the thread on the bolt that ends up gripping on the side of the bodywork a bit too much as you try in vain to move it inwards - but cursing and swearing and thumping it with my fist inward and outwards etc usually helps to free it - maybe that also means that the next bulb to fail has just lost most of its remaining life! This mounting method is pants - just cheap - nasty and troublesome, designed by an accountant I'd think. I'd think that it has been copied from Skoda - or maybe Lada (come on Tomo you can get that car working for them)

Popped into the new Seat dealer in Tunbridge Wells this morning, Humpries & Park.

Spoke to a really nice guy in service, who popped out and showed me how to do it.
It's very easy once you know how it's done.

be brave, deep breathe and ...
Undo the butterfly nut in the boot, wiggle the rear cluster and pull it away from the car, towards the boot, if it hasn't come out, try and get your fingernail under the very top of the cluster (the pointy section) or a thin piece of plastic (carefully) to create a small gap, grab onto it and wiggle the rear cluster and pull it away from the car, towards the boot again and bingo cluster should be in your hands.

Hopefully this will help someone
