ello welcome to the ol forum
pretty much any mod in this section can be done to any MK4 ibiza unless stated otherwise, your is the facelift model but still a mk4 to avoid any confusion when you reading other threads :D. best mods that are cheap and relatively easy are TT style pedals that you can order through the www.vagparts.com website, do a search on this forum for exactly what you need to order?

colour coding the side bump strips(the black bits on the doors that you can see on AEM's red one on the advater next to his name) this can be done by ordering new ones from SEAT and getting them smoothed and painted to Chrono yellow by your local auto bodyshop.

side rubbing strip part no.s for the 3 door

6L3853535B B41
6L3853515B 9B9
6L3853516B 9B9
price for first 2 is £2.20 and last two are £6.05 first two are rear ones last two are fronts! (plus vat)
for the 4 door
Left rear 4 door 6L4 853 535 B 9B9
right rear 4 door 6L4 853 536 B 9B9
front left 4 door 6L4 853 515 B 9B9
right front 4 door 6L4 853 516 B 9B9 (part no's thanks to GAZJONES)
same price i think
cost of painting up to your own quote from local companies

and the LCR (Leon Cupra R front spoiler)splitter looks amazing on the front facelift bumper about £17 again straight from the dealer.
HOW TO GUIDE (thanks Guiness)

hope this gives you and idea mate have a good look through the threads and post and remember the search button is you freind;)
if you get stuck with anything just ask :D

Yes I've got one picked it up just over two weeks ago.
Picked the best colour as well.
Here's a pic from when I picked it up at the dealer.

As for mods it all depends on what you want.
The sky's the limit.
I think it looks good as is but I suppose it could do with being a bit lower.
Still running mine in so can't really comment on performance yet but it seems okay.
I really like the stereo as it takes memory cards no faffing about with cd's and you get a good sound from it.

I've got a red 1.9TDi DAB - had it a few weeks now and it's great! Not planning on any mods, just enjoying the car as it is. Very happy with my 1st SEAT purchase :)

had my 3dr, black, 1.9 TDi DAB about 3 weeks now

fantastic, love the ride, the looks and the interior

gone for the chrome vents and gear surround, and the CD holder

must admit the DAB itself is not the easiest thing in the world to tune or operate

this is my 2nd ibiza, had a 54' 1.2 SX in Red - also a nice car, but asmatic engine

Had mine about a month now and absolutely love it. Went for the petrol version in the end, and it had to be in yellow!!! I'm having great fun thrashing it around the lanes of Cornwall, and still regularly getting between 35 and 40 mpg.

You shouldn't be disappointed!

Woo! First post and this is just to say, I've just bought my first SEAT. Jan 2007 Seat Ibiza 1.9 DAB Special Edition in Black Magic Metallic, getting the chrome air vent and gear surround trims fitted before I pick it up on Friday . . .
Tried the 1.4 petrol (85ps), but thought it was a bit guttless (you can't get a new 1.4 DAB now), so thats why I've gone for the diesel. Same engine as my current Passat (which I'm trading in)

Picked it up on Friday, found it nice and fast and well screwed together - looking good in black and I *really* like the black upholstery. Stereo is taking some 'getting to grips with'!

Quick look under the bonnet, showed no black plastic engine cover, as has become the norm on VAG engines. Have been told by salesman that this is SEAT cost cutting and is quite normal - is this true ??

Is it just the most recent Mk4's that don't have it fitted?

Sounds a bit off to me.

I wouldn't have accepted my car if the cover wasn't there.

To me it translates as

"It's Seat cutting costs" --> So we can charge you the same amount and then get more money when you want to buy the cover.
