I don't see any 400 lb/ft prices there? But that looks identical to the clutch I fitted in my car, which oddly enough came from JBS as well. :D

It worked out roughly £500 clutch, £100 refacing DMF. And it IS one hell of a clutch too.

Mmmm seems a bit sus to me, it doesn't, not that i can see anyway which manufacture of clutch it uses or if they actually make there own. I would advise against it and to go with something that other people have used or recomended.

Round the twist.

Ian e-mailed the guy for prices.

These are similar, if not the same as JBS ones. I'm not jumping to conclusions here. I stumbled across the site whilst looking on a search engine, then notified Ian @ work today. It seems they make their own clutches, so they're not a big manufacturer like Sachs for example.

Flywheel has to be in as new condition & there is a 500 mile min bedding in period.

Well, I'm not running the bhp you have in your sig (I wish  ) but close to the torque. Its only 6 months though, so you never know. However its not batted an eyelid since fitting. I got it BECAUSE I want to drive it hard when I get the opportunity. Pretty sure I would have munched at least one standard Fabia vRS clutch by now, if I'd not gone for this one from JBS. ;)

All I really know is that JBS' tuned up Octy vRS had it as well, and it performed well. (or haven't been told if it ate the clutch with 450bhp odd)

I did run mine in very carefully - Only because the first 3 weeks driving after my conversion was with no boost whatsoever, due to having the wrong thrust sensor  It was like a forced run in period for the clutch - 60bhp & 80 lb/ft. :D

Andy - probably worth looking into the sachs system. Quite good value and copes with 200bhp OK. Pretty sure though it's not got the torque tolerance of 400 lb/ft like my Kevlar clutch - Think its around 320 lb/ft (ish) and it would be safe to go over that a bit (200 horses should be around 330/340 lb/ft)
