Been looking at the pipe work for my intercooler this weekend and also at mounting and fitting. I am going to make a new bracket so that i can mount the radiator backwards about an inch which should hopefully give me enought space to mount my intercooler without having to cut my bumper. I will be removing my standard mesh also.

Had a look at the piping and unsure wether to leave in the standard pipe which houses the MAP sensor. I know this will be a restriction but will make pipe work easy. Just wondered any thoughts on this standard piping? Will be leaving the standard pipe work comming down off the inlet manifold also.

Will hopefully be ordering my intercooler and relevant pipework soon and get started on making some brackets and mounts for the intercooler onto my crash bar.

Any feedback welcome as i would like peoples oppinions before i get started.

for the mapsensor you can buy a alu pipe from forge and they produce a map sensor flange,

weld it toghether and you get this:

not verry good pic but you get the point

now the restriction is gone and its good/cheap solution

I was going for 2.5" pipe work which is what the intercooler has so i wouldnt need any reducers. When i do start it tho i will be taking pics and making a guide hopefully.

you should use 2" pipework before the intercooler to create more pressure and 2.5" after the intercooler
