custom code remap

hi there iv recently visited vw midlands performance and have been told to get a custom code remap iv been wanted a map for some time now but my car hasnt been running great i was originaly going for a revo but need some advice on which to get? the customs £315 and revo about £400 any advice thanks...

Depends on your modifications and what kind of power delivery you prefer. Revo is known for being fairly aggressive in comparison to other maps such as custom code and jabba which are generally smoother and more progressive. The main
advantage of the revo map is the ability to play the with boost and timing with the sps that you can buy as an added extra.

what do u mean by revos more aggressive? it is a massive difference?

He means the revo snaps in more aggressively giving more of a initial pull..but will tail off as you get higher up the revs. The custom code type remaps give a smoother deliverance in the power which means you get more of a continuace pull throughout the rev range.

Like Ollie said though it depends what your after, both have their advantages! :)
