Custom code remap people?

Hi,

I am changing my remap on tuesday from my current one which i wasnt happy with the service at the place etc a few months back. i have decided to change the remap to one of which many people seem to use, Custom Code..

i am just wondering if any of you have this map what sort of figures are you getting and how happy are you? overall just a bit of feedback on the remap, driveability hows its change, what boost psi etc.. Anybody got any bhp figures to quote?

I had my Ibiza cupra Custom Coded and the difference was huge, I must admit tho that below 3k rpm there wasnt alot to shout about but once it hit 3k the boost just made the car take off but the fun didnt last very long as it tailed off about 5-5.5k.

This was probably due to the small k03 turbo on the ibizas tho so i'd imagine the K04 in the LCR to hold boost right to the red line

I can recommend custom code i've got it on my ibiza. I had the mobile service totally transformed the car. When I bought the LCR it already had Revo stage 2, although I would have gone for a custom code again if it weren't already mapped.

What software have you got atm then?

I'm running CC Phase 2 on my LC.
THe difference was VERY noticable. Car now pulls like a train all the way thru the rev range (obviously drops off towards redline!)

PSI: peak @ ~21psi, hold ~18psi.

I can't praise the map or the installer (F1BTN Brighton) enough, and the guys at head office are great too if there are problems / queries about the specific car.

I have done hours of research on remaps because I am about to spend big bucks and I want to get it right 1st time. Custom Code seems to work well on Leon's with consistent power right through the revs. On some other maps, I have heard reports of large bursts of power at the beginning/middle but nothing top end. REVO is a handy peice of kit too I hear, with the ability for them to tailor it to your driving style and the SPS switch to turn the map on/off is a good extra.
