hi guys

just wondering what your thoughts are on both these remaps as i live close to both places i have ibiza tdi fr 130 i have a pd160 intake and green filter. was just wondering if anyone has had this done to there tdi what sought of results they saw and basically who you would reccommend going to as they are both very well known companies?

many thanks

Craig

just cause you live close, dont mean you have to go to them ones, look at places like p-torque getting 180bhp + on just a map, and also jabba etc
have a look round the forum and in the companies sections and have a look at reviews etc ;)

Then also look at actually how the remap is, not just peak bhp.

All these p-torque/jabba maps according to Brad1 get good bhp (peak) but what about the rest of the rev range? torque? Does it actually make the car 'faster' than a very smooth map?

Im still waiting for a PD130 with 'just' a remap to get below 15 seconds, like EdButler, Sissons, Mike_OBD and myself all did with Custom Code, all on different days.

yeah forge do remaps, but only generic i beleive, maybe wrong, ive heard good reviews about p-torque:)

and as sparky said, look at the rev range, p-torque look like good smooth and strong graphs from what ive seen, you need to change it sparky, you need to say you want to see a tdi ibiza get into the 13's

only if you keep your foot planted all the time, cause a remap increases the boost on turbo, so more fuel is needed to get the fuel to air right, therefore more power, but if driving steady on motorway 3mpg-5mpg can be had, because of the increased torqued you dont have to plant your foot as far to get the car going if that makes sense?

yeah when i first got it i thought it was quick ish but now have got used to it so am gonna take the big step!

trust me mate, now your on here, your wallet will be drained haha:lol:, next you will want a exhaust, air filter, fmic etc, then bigger turbo
