Had a progress thread previously but stupidly deleted the photobucket pics so thought i'd start again. Anyway finally got it lowered and apologies for not being on SCN for a while :ban: life's been a bit mental recently! Enjoy

KW V1's, pretty happy with them, not too harsh a ride and dropped to the height i wanted (apart from the rear end but dnt htink any coilovers will get it out the air!).

The strut doesnt foul the airbox it has a recess onthe underside to clear it but i did have to chop a little bit off the engine cover, nothings ever straight forward eh?!

yeh, i've had to chop mine down a bit too! My strut brace rattles really badly against the air box and i cant get it to sit any lower!

Your car looks really smart, keep up the good work! :D

Looks pretty much perfect to me, the gap between the arch and tyre on the front and back looks about the same.

How you find the KW's on rough roads or country roads?

not too sure in terms of millimeters but its wound down all the way at the back, but not all the way at the front, bedrock veedubs fitted them and done a great job. i'm well happy with it, its sitting just the way i wanted and its still practical to drive....but now handles superbly!

change of wheels coming in the near future but may just be a temporary change and i'll keep them for winter ones as i do love the cupra wheels

Trading the cupra in on thursday for a Mk5 VW Golf R32. I'm gonna miss the cupra but i think the V6 might ease the pain! Anyway thanks to everyone who helped me out in the past, good forum and good people! Let's hope whoever gets my car in the future returns to the forum. I'll be sure to pop back now and again even though i dont expect to ggo back to a SEAT in the near future. cheers guys
