I have tried searching for this, but can't seem to find the answer:confused:
I have a 2004 cupra, and am looking at a cupra r interior swap. Is it worth it
The seats look a bit different, but not sure if they are:blink:
Also are they all electric, or should it say in the listing :wtf:

no LCR seats are electric. thats just the leather memory seats. not an option on LCRs..

The standard LCR seats or recaro were the options on LCRs. if you went recaro on Early LCRs they also had rear recaros, then later just fronts.

Also the interior is all black on LCRs, so all the dash, door cards, rear view mirror, pillars and roof lining are black - which are cream/grey on cupras.

Is it worth it.. very personal decision, for 95% of people no, they wouldnt even notice. Those in the know would like it and value it, but not by alot.
also little red lines on the air vents, and later LCRs had nicer steering wheel.
Im sure there are a few other differences i cant think of.

To be fair I've had quite a few people (people not interested in cars) bring up the black headlining saying it looks really nice

Maybe 5 or 6 timee a passanger has mentioned how nice it looks with it all being black, I didn't realise it was considered more 'up market' or whatever.

paradigm

I hate the orange game!
I don't see the need for them to be leather, the type of seat and the type of car doesn't really command leather. I've got leather in my A6 (S Line seats) and they are slightly wider, slightly less "bucket" and have things like adjustable lumbar, extendable base (leg support), and suits the car properly.

I don't miss leather when in the LCR, and I don't miss "hugging" seats when I'm in the A6 :)

I may be the odd one out, but i don't like the leather interior on the leons anyway. I looked at a couple of leather equipped cars before i bought mine and i just don't think it goes well with the rest of the interior tbh. Leathers not the best quality either in my opinion

I'm a fan of the half-leather interior that my car has (transplanted from a V5 Toledo). Seat surrounds leather, seat cushions and back panels Alcantara along with the door panels. (Alcantara is a polyurethane pseudo-suede).
