Many people have this. I had it on old leon, just let progress untill it becomes an issue then have a garage look at it or if i doesnt change then just ignore it.

Someone will be able to explain exactly what it is i.e. cool air becoming condensed in the combustion cycle thus producing the "white smoke" which in that case would mean its steam but i'm not 100% sure.

Its normal the injection timing to help turbo spool up (I get this quite a lot although died down since new pipework). If its white smoke on idle then usually means oil seals are on their way out OR water in the exhaust system.

I just got a hybrid fitted and mine has started smoking at around 1500rpm but clears when above this. Onlybthing ibcan think of is maybe the oil as it was changed too.

That's what my Cupra tdi was doin when I had a boost pipe split on the lower side of my turbo.

Used to white smoke when settin off slowly ie it stop start traffic and also did it when In very low revs is cheak all boost pipes for oil residue around them if there is replace or upgrade it fixed my fault.
