Cupra tdi - boost tapering off at high RPM

Might be a stupid question but I was just wondering if boost pressure is supposed to decrease as revs increase.

I've noticed in mine it will boost to about 26 psi at around 2200 rpm and then will slowly decrease as revs increase to about 21 psi at 4000 rpm.

I have checked the whole system for leaks and all is fine just wondering if this is usual behaviour for a VNT turbo or whether I have a problem somewhere.

standard procedure for most turbocharged vehicles. wouldn't worry about it.
