Cupra tailpipes - the definitive answer?

Hi all,

I'm very close to returning to Cupra ownership after 4 years in the Audi wilderness.

Can anyone help by confirming the definitive answer to my confusion over tailpipes?! I'm looking only at cars with the bodykit and so far have come accross:

1) Side exit single oval
2) Twin exit round pipes
3) Centre exit oval - on the K1

My favourite is the twin exit round ones - but this seems very rare. Does anyone know if this was a particular model/edition or just a predecessor to the K1? I'm assuming there is no significant difference in noise/power/replacement costs?

All assistance gratefully received!

Thanks,

Simon

As far as i recall m8 the twin exits were fitted to the reference sport diesels and dont see why you couldnt fit this to a cupra. However i have seen igors on here with twin pipes on std cupra bumper. Thank its a supersprint system. Ask him m8 im sure he will send you some pics to see.

As above the twin tailpipes only came on the 140bhp oil burners with the BTCC/Aero kit on.

There's no reason why you couldn't get a custom exhaust made up for a Cupra.

The twin pipes are available on any Leon as part of the OEM Accessories catalogue. Not many Cupras will have them fitted as it has been said the majority of them that have them fitted are Aero kitted Cars (again mostly PD140 Ref Sports)
If you ask your dealer I am sure they can order and fit the back box with the twin pipes for you on your Cupra.

They will fit the Cupra as I was asked what varient I had when I ordered mine and had it fitted. There is a black Cupra in Worcester somewhere with the twin pipes fitted to a Cupra
