I wanna add some side skirts to my v5 but dont know how!! Are they easy to bond on??? If so, what should I use to glue them??

Also I wanted to upgrade the whole exhaust system, the trouble is the back box,,,,,how easy would it be to have the tail of the pipe pokin' out from a hole in the rear bumper?? At the moment it drops down inside to keep it lookin' neat.

Cheers guys

Yeah, easy as.....

you need a list of clips, jacking point covers, skirts and screws.
depending on age of car depends on how skirts can be mounted.
Some cars have mounting lugs (newer models) i had to use little plastic clamp clips...they hold on to the sill lip under the car....

the sill itself you have to stick a number of clips along it. easy to mark out....just offer the skirt up with the clips attached and draw round them.

i bonded them with Sikaflex. never drilled it and they have been on for a few years.

just checked on photobucket i havent added any fitting pics, but i have loads at home from when we did it....you can make your tolly look like a cupra oh so easily. As for exhaust.....IMO cutting the bumper is no no...mate it has the potential to go VERY wrong and look pants...your better off finding an aftermarket bumper (like hens teeth though)....MS design do an exhaust but i think it is directed under the bumper rather than through it. or you could do what TIIEWL has done and make your own bumper! his looks ACE! Bigfella_V5 has just finished modding his gold tolly http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=131043

Don't get aftermarket skirts like I have, they aren't that cheap and the quality is awful. They aren't possible to secure along the skirt, just at the ends. I only got these as I could find some genuine ones anywhere.

As soon as I do I will get some.
