im not comparing how they drive lol just how they look

guess im on my own with thinking headlights, flared arches, square rear window and flat tailgate remind me of a nova (but a better looking one)

also what i forgot to add was is there any mk2 cupras out there on TB's dying to see what the engine bay set up looks like......

Ive found the ibiza to be not so good for comfort, the headrests are too far back, which they shouldnt be, and I always get cramp in my right leg with the accelerater pedal, It does kinda look novaish though.

Because the 205/40/17 doesn't soak up the bumps as well as smaller rims with bigger tyre walls. Exhaust needs to be fitted well or mk2 is prone to knocking, mid section is usually culprit, gets hot, expands, flex's system back

As the rolling radius is slightly greater, the rear beam will sit slightly different, as the exhaust fits quite close over that, could be a factor too.

Top of the headrest should be level with the top of your ears. I would say that for most folks, the headrests are actually a tad high if anything.

As edc has quite rightly pointed out, they're not really intended for resting your head against - the "rest" bit is short for "restraint".

Adjust the seat base so that your legs are comfy and your feet can operate the pedals. Then stretch your arms out straight in front of you. Your wrists should rest on top of the steering wheel. Unless you are of ape-like proportions, the seat should tilt enough.

It's still badly fitted then, that'll be the engine movement and/or when the exhausts get hot (flooring it), they expand and flex more. Been there done that with custom and oe exhausts, pain the arse.

The VAG seats from the mk2 Ibiza era have all been slated for not protecting properly against whiplash due to their design, especially the head rests. If the seats doing your back-in, old trick which is also on RAC adverts at the mo, roll up a small towel and place it behind the small of your back to form the natural arch.
