I nearly bought a nearly new M240i. The owner had made a right mess of one of those. I googled to see how much they were and it wasn't cheap but he had made a right mess of it. Good idea if they are put on right
Ye i wouldnt attempt it like but some onenwith patience might be able makenit look good

Re-trim going to be much much cheaper.
I can highly recommend Royal Link. 2 of the Porsche's in the family have had theirs done there and they look fab. You can add thickness, thumb grips, centre marks, pretty much anthing you fancy

There’s loads of videos on YouTube on how to clean an alcantra steering wheel.
I clean mine on my R ST with essentially some warm water and drop of washing up liquid and a towel. Comes up looking new everytime.

Link doesn't workI have one of these and then just a bit of hot water. As long as your hands are clean you’ll be fine. Obviously don’t eat your KFC all over it!
Yea I know.. At first was washing my hands each time before I got into the car but you know how it works when you got it for a bit longer you stop caring as much as you did in the first days.

or maybe I could sell you mine, I’m interested on upgrade to the cupra new style wheel with all those buttons and the 2 push injectors and it’s around the $800 USD even a used one but first I’ll check out if I can fit it on my car and if I get the enough money for the shipment and everything.. I’ll get decided to sell mine and if your looking for it I would give it to you as first option
