Guys

i am just wondering if anyone has the price of a Radiator and Fans for an LCR (210)

I think my radiator is leaking (not a loose connection as first thought) and i have the fan problem which causes the fuse to blow.

i need to know some prices so i can sell a kidney to pay for the repair.

Can't find my invoice but fans are about £400 if you need both fast and slow, labour to fit is near enough the same so bascially a small fortune. Not sure about the rad as didn't have that changed

Get saving!

Got the same problem mate.
I picked up my 55 plate Cupra R last week and after 2 days the coolant warning started to beep at me so I investigated immediately.
Looks like I have a small hole in the radiator. I just hope that this will get fixed free under warranty?

Anyway. I got quoted at about £75-80 for a new radiator and around £60 for the labour. That was from Star Performance in Fife.
So in total = ~£140.

Hope this helps u out a wee bit [B)]

Been to pick up my car today from its MOT and to dicuss the radiator replacement issue. the bloke tells me that his computer tells him how many hours a job is and what needs to be done etc. he tells me the rad drops out of the bottom? is that right or does the entire front end have to come out?

Just got of the phone from the dealers.

£132 +VAT for the radiator
£116 +VAT for the Big Fan
£111 + VAT for the small fan

so all in all this is going to get expensive.

can i just clarify something as maybe only one fan has gone. with the air con running BOTH fans should be running slowly?

the guy at my garage is convinced he can take it out from underneath (well thats what his software on his comuter is telling him)

On my Leon - both fans ran slowly when the A/C was on
