Hi anybody knows if you can order the ibiza cupra r 99-02 caugus at the dealership? like the oil temp, turbo etc in the middle of the dash

the pod is about £12, as for the gauges, probably looking at £30 each for the gauges

The Cupra R comes with and a Oil Pressure gauge and a Voltmeter gauge in the centre of the dash. If you get the Cupra R gauge holder you can then fit any 52mm diameter gauges you want. The Cupra R gauge holder is about £10 from your local Seat dealer.
I fitted an oil temperature and boost gauge to mine:

The gauges I used are about £40 each.

yep i ordered mine yesterday, £10.81 i think with postage, part nunmber is in the sticky at the top of the page, all i found is that you need to add 01C to the part number!

they are sweet, easy to fit?

Thought the cupra r guage holder has to be modified to fit in, or u have to damage ur dash slightly to get it in?

i had to mod my holder slightly to get it to fit but this was due to the depth of the guages i bought.

Ive got the gauges in mine, I know I would rather have a boost gauge instead of the voltmeter gauge tho.

I got my gauges from www.realsteel.co.uk and they are Autometer "Phantom" gauges, 52mm diamter. BY5748M for the oil temp and BY5703 for the boost gauge.

What you really want is the Autometer Phantom 2's though as these look alot more like your original dials at night. If was to get another Ibiza this is what I would fit:

when they are illuminated, are they a pig to read? the needle seems to blend in really bad.

fair enough.....i like them being the same colour as the standard dials but would be put off completely if i knew they couldnt be read.......after all, whats the point in havin a gauge that you cant read?

more asking about the cupra r guages holder......is it easy to fit, what modification needs doing to the dash...

i don't want to wreck the dash with screw holes or anything in case it comes out you see...

does it just clip in?

Is the wiring already there for the guages? the loom etc?

seat oem gauges are well expensive sure i enquired and they were over 90 quid each!!

plastic trim = £9
voltmeter =£70
oil temp = £120

all prices include vat
