Cupra R - front bumper too low

Folks

I run a Leon Cupra (revo'd) and am looking for a Cupra R to get even more go, bigger brakes and trick suspension! I can't wait but what's worrying me is, where I live that low front spoiler is going to get nurfed everytime I drive it to work through twisty mumpy country lanes.

How easy is it to lose a couple of inches off the bottom of that front spoiler??

Don't worry too much.
That is exactly what I was thinking before I bought my car. I travel on meandering B Roads most of the time and was a little worried that I would be scraping my way along.
The car can handle most roads and speed bumps etc with no problems. The only place I would defo not go near would be a multi-storey car par with their crazy steep inclines between floors.
You will soon become familiar with the speeds that you can go over certain obstacles. Just go very slow to start with and then work your way up. :D

Surrey darling...
yeah, as said, I don't think you'll find it to be much of a problem... and remember the bit thats prone to getting scuffed, scrapped and generally battered is replacable and only costs something like £18 a go from Seat :D

my under tray scrapes the ground more than my front splitter! Only catch the splitter on curbs and speed bumps never during normal driving + mines lowered nearly 50mm so standard height you wouldnt have any major worries

It really isn't an issue at all. My commute is nearly entirely B roads, 22 miles of them, and it's never got near grounding out.

Just remember not to pull up too close to the curb when parking or you'll bounce off it!

:cry:I'm paranoid about nerfing mine, It does sound like you've just trashed your front end when you do scuff something, but it sounds worse than it is, so just turn up the stereo - saying that - Im going to the air tattoo next week and i'm already getting a cold sweat thinking about driving around a field carpark! :scary:

As said above my undertray sits lower and has been smashed to bits, gonna have to get a new one soon as it is hanging down. The front splitters are less that £20.00 from seat and easy to fix so dont worry about damaging them, thats what they are there for!
