is it possible to upgrade to vented rear brakes on the mk1 cupra's just by changing calipers from a model using vented discs? my bro has vented rears on his octy vrs and was wondering if its an easy swap or not worth bothering with considering the rears only do a small amount of total braking? my discs all round will need changing soon and while i think 312mm are big enuff to cope with stopping the car i wouldnt mind a bit more bite from the pads perhaps. any reccomendations guys?

The LC rears are 233mm and the LCR are 256mm mate. I have just bought the 256mm rear setup (same as the LCR) for my cupra as changing the front to the porsche setup and althoug it doesnt do much braking they look so much better behind wheels and must be worth it or would be on the LCR as standard!

I need to get a new set of 312 front discs for my cupra and wondering if anyone has bought the grooved ones on ebay for £90 (dont want them drilled just grooved) and if so what did they think or any recommendations about the £100 mark? Money is tight at the mo so cant be spending more than that (wish i could though :()
