Right folks ive had a search on the site for the answer but cant find it (sorry if im a complete muppet lol) so dont give me a bollocking :D.
Reading the piper exhaust thread and there is a comment in there saying that the cupra exhaust is the same as the LCR, but have to adjust the tailpipe to fit the bumper.
Is this true or should i only look for a LC one.
Reason i ask is because there is a lot more exhausts for sale for the LCR.
Cheers all

PS I have an 04 plate cupra just to clarify

it sounds unlikely to me otherwise piper would just have used the same parts for the dp/cat sections for both lc and lcr.

The exhaust is not the same for he LC and LCR. The LCR has two cats for example and the downpipes are different also.

It may have been a confused comment that the tail pipe is the same / looks the same?

I think you may be able to use the same back box from LC from the LCR, but the cut out in the rear bumper is in a slightly different place between the LC and LCR.

check out miltek im running a turbo back one with their sports cat on my lc and its the doggies danglys, nice low sound not too loud (beefy) and no restriction in flow so some serious increase in hp .

yea i know and i really wanna invest in one but just aint got £550 for a full system at the mo (really wish i did) and after having my car up on the ramps this weekend its amazing how small the downpipe on the LC is (mcdonalds straw comes to mind lol). That alone must be a serious loss of power :(
