Cupra engine mounts

How easy is it to change engine mounts on a ibiza cupra any advice and instructions would be good?

not easy, garage/ramp jobbie for rear and box mount (box has to come out)

no it does'nt...

g'box mount is lift it up a bit off OPE mount, drop in new one and lower it down. Front is fiddly (access to bolts etc) need to support motor, again jack it up remove/refit, and rear is same again.. lift it up & possibly removed rear mount off block (x4 bolts only)

not a g'box out job, unless that was being done for another job like clutch etc

oh well me being thick, cause I had my clutch done same time, from what fitter was saying box had to come out to change mount

if clutch being done then yea.. easy as.. seeing as its all coming out.

Not req'd.

I know I did'nt remove mine when I fitted em.. just jacked motor up off mounts, replaced them and sat it back down again. Not a 10min job mind you.
