A little while a go my car threw up about 20 errors, but still runs ok. I took it into Seat and they told me it needed a new ECU, costing me almost £800.

After this i phoned Jim at Star to see what he thought (he owned the car from new, so knows its history), he thought it was water damage, apparently quite a common problem on Ibiza's.

SO, im looking for a new/used ECU ive been looking for one for a few weeks now and have had no luck. Does anyone know where i could possibly get one, or if theres another car with the same ECU that i could use (the golf GTi turbo for example)

Also theres an ECU for a Leon Cupra (180 bhp) on ebay, would this work?

Thanks

One of the first things i'll be sorting soon when i get my car back is to get Forge a drawing for a splash guard. I've made one, just need to check it fits/works.
