Cupra Discount?

Anyone know any dealers in the South/Midlands that will do a good discount on a SEAT Ibiza Cupra? (TDi or Petrol, still haven't decided) I plan to factory order with metallic paint and the Convience Pack.

Also, does anyone know if they do the Satellite Navigation as an upgrade still as I can't seem to find it on their site?

Thanks :)

Shame :( The standard radio will definately have to go for a Double DIN unit as I know how rubbish they are!

I'm planning to pay cash-outright for the car so heres hoping for a good discount ;)

Broadspeed are quoting £14985 for a Cupra TDi with metallic paint and convenience pack, so you could get a quote from Drive The Deal as well and then try the local dealers to see if they can get anywhere near that.

If you don't have a trade in you are not restricted to buying directly from dealers.

buy stock ad thenyes expect a discount, But if you start factory speccin g then doubt you'll get much.

If i was gonna buy a cupra i would buy a1yr-2yr old example, I would not want to spend any more than 10k on one, if you pick up a 10k tdi cupra ( there are loads too) then its depreciaton safe for up to 6 months

Seems to make sense Ant. I've just noticed on seat Used Cars you can pick up a Demonstrator yellow 06 plate with 3000 miles for £12495 which is before you've haggled another £500 off! Thats a bargain!

The only issue for me is that I NEED Cruise Control due to high miles so it'd be a case of trying to source one with Convience pack

Retro fit it then, at most it will cost you £200 for someone else to do it for you, I had it retro fitted to both my 1.8T and tdi.

I did exactly this

bought a demonstrator 20VT FR with 2500 miles on the clock from a dealer for 9k cash last christmas

then got them to retrofit cruise as part of the deal.......no cruise-no deal

OH, and I got them to refurbish both front wheels as they had slight scratches on them and they threw in some mats and a tank of fuel and 6 months tax

I think mine was the only car they sold in DEC 2005 :funk:

BTW cos the dealers did the cruise it's covered under the warranty

the very best of luck with the haggling mate

Warwickshire once.
You could get What Car magazine go into all three of Listers in Coventry, the crap mob in Birmingham and GDT motors in Kenilworth (they are all within 25 miles of each other).

What Car has a buy it price that they recommend you should be able to get the new car for.

If the garage will not budge just tell them your gonna ring what car magazine and find out where they were a ble to buy the vehicle for that price, also offer to go to one of the other dealers as they are only 20mins away.

I got my Cupra this way.

I managed to get 1,200 quid knocked off this way.
