Cupra Calipers Given a Lick of Paint

After work today i decided to paint my calipers as they looking shabby

Rusty .... Not a good look

So i set about stripping them down

Pads out cleaned them off and they were white underneath all the built up brake dust

Took the caliper carriers off and contemplated taking the caliper itself off the car but decided not to faf around them out again afterwards so left them be on the car

Caliper Carrier off the car and cleaned with a Wire Wheel and some Brake Cleaner to remove surface rust and brake dust

Same to the Caliper exept Wire brush instead of the Wire Wheel :tup:

Next step ... Masking up all the bits that i didn't want painted

Now the Fun bit 2 coats of Hammerite Smooth applied

All back together with the Wheel on ... Ahhh much better

Thanks for looking really think it's made a difference to the look of car .... almost went red but i think thats meant for Big Calipers and the standard Cupra ones aren't that special so went for the stock looking silver
