Hi All,

I'm hoping to collect a 66 plate Cupra 290 DSG this Friday. The car has relatively low mileage (9000) and has just been serviced, I assume it's second service but need to check.

They have an offer of two services for £149, these are based on either 20,000 miles or 2 years, whichever comes first. I will be doing 15,000 miles per year, just wondering if it's a catch if the service intervals are further apart than 10,000 miles surely they will only give me one service?

When are the larger services due? cambelt? DSG?

I'm sure it's been posted on here before but i'm struggling to find it.

Standard intervals are for a minor service at 10,000 miles or one year followed by a major service at 20,000 miles or two years. However, there is longlife option which pushes the oil change out of 20,000 miles. The service book should tell you which plan that car is on and what services have been performed to date.

For cars over two years old, fixed prices should be available on SEAT's website.

The diff is due a service at 30,000 miles or 3 years and the DSG at 40,000 miles or 4 years.

There is no timing belt on a Cupa - EA888 engines are chain drive.
