Cupra 1998 2.0 16v How to deative immobiliser because i lost my transponder

:cry:Hi basicly i managed to lose the transponder in my key from a ABF 2.0 16v on thursday i had a locksmith try for 4 days to sort it and he can't he can't get the key to code with a new transponder can i take the immobiliser total out and if so how or what can i do next i have tried replacing the trasponder, immobiliser box and the part that goes around ignition barrel from a seat ibiza 8v same yeah engine code AEX and it hasn't worked HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cry:

to take out an immobiliser you need it to send the signal to the engine first. otherwise it will never start. that means you need to have the engine started first before you take it out. then take the immobiliser out thus stopping the engine telling the immobiliser that its off.

but if you cant get the engine to start first then your screwed mate sorry. thats the only way i know to take it out.

You need, matched transponder ecu and immobiliser box. Or you need a very good auto electrician who has a programmer. They can then take your immo box out. Read the chip, change the code inside and turn the immobiliser off that way.

Or they can disable the immobiliser within the ecu in some cars.

Apparently serving ur immobiliser will work mate not from practise but from what ibwas advised

1.8T MK2 Conversion
you can tap the immboliser wire into the ecu (Fuel pump) to a relay which drops it to earth on ignition, and that defeats it.
its a blue and yellow wire, just needs a relay to activate on ignition live, and then drop it to earth. Simples

Just to let you know I ended up pay 120 to get another locksmith to have a look and he sorted it yay and I also got a spare cut just incase thanks for all your help guys
