Crossovers And Tweeters Mk3 Ibiza

I would like some ideas if any on fitting the crossovers and tweeters in mk3 ibizas? Pics would be good? Not sure how I want to fit mine, show it off or hide it?

look at my guide on wiring up a mk3 ibiza sound system....

speakers are 16.5cm and if you can get a 1 inch tweeter then thats great .. if not get a 0.75 inch.

i forgot to mention i wrapped the crossovers in a plastic bag, then made sure it was water proof then shoved it in behind the speaker in the door.

Flooky, have you bought the speakers already? If so, what have you got??

Crossovers in the doors wrapped in a bag is a bad idea, water WILL get into the doors and into the bag somehow and damage the crossovers. A better place for them would be both sides of the dash, so open where you would get to the fusebox, ive placed one above that and the other on the other side of the dash.

my mk3 had the built in crossover as it had the top mounted tweeters in the front...have this same setup in my mk4 FR and have wired the same tweeters in the rear doors and sounds so much better
