right , ive been looking into tuning my 8v cupra , heard through the grapevine that a mk4 golf 2.0 8v head will fit on my block , and that because these have forward facing inlets are therefore better for carbs , has anyone got any experiance of fitting one of thses heads to an ibiza ? , also im unsure that i will be happy with the power gains from carbs , a cam , 4 branch mani , and a remap , so im also looking at forced induction , id prefer to supercharge it as nothing beats the noise of a charger whinning its nut in , has anyone carried out forced induction on there 8v that would be able to guide me through the basics of what to uprate and what not ? ..... P.s , i dont want a 16v :) lolol

Many Thanks Cole :D

we fitted an eaton m45 charger to a mk3 golf 2.0 8v.
its gets mapped on tuesday, but been running for a few months now. sweetly considering its not mapped anywhere near.

A larger charger would be better if you really want some more power. the e45 is too small imho for a 2ltr motor.
rotrex do a range of chargers.
we left the stock compression knowing the e45 would'nt ever be able to run much boost, so it retains superb throttle pickup

Neuspeed did a charger for the crossflow 8v new bettles.. have a search for that

What are the expected gains from the m45?
