creeking sound from suspension

does anyone get a creeking sound from the suspension of their LCR? I have an 03, it sounds like an old bed creeking when I go over a ramp with the window open. Only happens on the front wheels

my Cupra has been doing it recently, then we have some rain and it stops for a while. Seens like its something in the suspension that isn't lubricated. i'm gunna have a closer look when i have time!!

Common fault, try searching.

Anti roll bar bushes, or a loose alarm module under the dash.

Dealer will sort under warranty.

Mine does this, well from the rear nearside wheel anyway. I booked it into the dealer last Nov and they lubricated the suspension - the noise went away.

Anyway, the noise is back now and p1ssing me off! So I'm going to take the wheel off tomorrow and have a look.

yep mine does it too, common thing apparently , comes and goes, when something falls off i'll get it looked at

it may also be top suspension mounts as that wht mine was and i have a 03 plate lcr

what did you do about the top suspension mounts and how much out of pocket were you if you don't mind mr bentaw

yeah, same thing! i say spanish piece of ****, then i pin it and all is forgiven!

they replaced them under warrenty which was good so dont know how much they would of cost me

I took the wheel off yesterday and greased/oiled the parts you could see were dry and now silence.

I'll have to give this a try - I had a drive over Hardknott pass in the Lakes the other weekend and the back end was creaking like there was a baboon in the boot...

My cars back end creeks something wrotten now I have the 28mm ARB but I should expect this right?

The front creeks to but not as bad....
